About Nagzira Wildlife Sanctuary

Nagzira is totally a hidden wildlife paradise in the Vidharbha region of Maharashtra. It’s about 3 hour’s drive from Nagpur city and is not less in any sense than Tadoba Tiger Reserve. It has got almost the same type of flora-fauna and weather and is one of the most potential locations in India for sighting of “Special 5 mammals in Central India” namely Tigers, Leopards, Wild dogs, Sloth Bears, and Indian Gaur. In fact, it is popular as a perfect place to sight and photograph Leopards, Sloth bears, and Wild dogs for it has got a great thriving population of these 3 species compared to any other park in central India. This forest has its mention in ancient literature and since then it has been a very dense ecosystem with ample flora and fauna. Something that a wildlife lover will surely fall in love with!

Arrive at Nagpur by 7.30 to 8.00 am. Leave for Nagzira Wildlife Sanctuary.
Check-in at the resort around Noon. Post lunch leave for 1st wildlife safari of the tour in the old Nagzira zone which is popular for Tiger and Leopard sightings. Evening group discussion about today’s sighting and photographs Post dinner rest at the resort.

Explore Nagzira Forest
Early morning leave for our 2nd safari in the zone which is one of the hottest for leopard and sloth bear sightings. Post lunch leave for our 3rd Wildlife safari from the Chorkhamara Old zone looking for some birds, wild dogs, a variety of deer species, and wild bison. Evening group discussion about today’s sightings and photographs. Post-dinner rest at the resort.

Explore Nagzira WLS and back to Nagpur
Early morning leave for our last safari through Nagzira’s beautiful zone. Enjoy your last safari to the fullest, and try to make the best out of it. Reach back resort, freshen up, and pack up for the trip. After lunch, leave for Nagpur with some great sightings and memories to cherish forever. Reach Nagpur by evening.
