Desert National Park is an important location for birding in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. This huge park forms a part of the mighty Thar Desert. The wide grasslands of Desert National Park is home to an array of bird species, reptiles, and mammals. You can expect to spot avian species such as Common Kestrel, Laggar Falcon, Great Indian Bustard, Bimaculated Lark, Asian Desert Warbler, Long legged Buzzard, Read-headed Vulture, Demoiselle Crane, and Common Crane, among others. Arrival at Jaisalmer – Transfer to Resort – Evening Birding Session

Guests arrive at Jaisalmer train station from where they are transferred to the resort. We check in, freshen up, and enjoy a delicious lunch. After lunch, the group enjoys a small session of interaction to get to know each other. If conditions permit, we may have the first birding session of the trip in the evening. We return to the resort for dinner and stay overnight. Meals: Lunch, Dinner Meals: Lunch, Dinner

Birding Sessions

Day 2 is filled with action and excitement as we set out birding. We will conduct birding sessions in the morning and evening so you can make the most of every opportunity for sightings. All meals will be served at the resort timings. We return to the resort at night to stay. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Birding Sessions

If you enjoyed the birding sessions of Day 2, you will be delighted to continue the fun on Day 3 as well. We continue our adventure in search of new species and even, perhaps, get to revisit some old ones. All meals will be served at the resort timings and we stay overnight. Morning Birding Session – Check out from resort – Departure

On the final day of the tour, we enjoy one last birding session early morning. We check out from the resort in the afternoon and head towards Jodhpur for the journey home. Meals: Breakfast The tour concludes with wonderful memories, and we thank you for joining us. Meals: Breakfast
