About Vietnam Birding Tour
Vietnam is one of the Southeast Asian countries which is famous for its beaches, rivers, and other Buddhist sites. Apart from these sightseeing places, it is also famous for its lesser-explored avian fauna. We at Nature Explorers India are organizing an exclusive trip to Vietnam for photographing some exclusive species of Tropical forest. This birding tour is especially focused on the Pittas and specialties of Southern Vietnam. We will be spending 90% of our time at bird hides giving you the opportunity for some excellent pictures. We will be tracking other birds like Trogons, barbets, sunbirds, and many more classical tropical species which does not come on the feeders by walking trails.

Ho Chi Minh City to Cat Tien National Park.
Welcome to Vietnam. We'll meet by Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh City. Later we will be transferred to Cat Tien National Park. We will arrive in time for some initial exploration of this wonderful park and have a welcome dinner in the evening. Night at Cat Tien National Park.

Birding at Cat Tien National Park.
We will spend a full day birding in this wonderful park, the largest remaining lowland rainforest in Vietnam, and one of the best birding destinations in the country. We will spend most of time at bird hides, our main photographic targets will be the stunning Bar-bellied Pitta, Blue-rumped Pitta and Siamese Fireback. Night at Cat Tien National Park.
Expected birds in Cat Tien Bird Hides: Bar-bellied Pitta (Near Endemic), Blue-rumped Pitta (Near Endemic), Siamese Fireback, Black-crested Bulbul, Stripe-throated Bulbul, Gray-eyed Bulbul, Puff-throated Babbler, Buff-breasted Babbler, Abbott's Babbler, White- rumped Shama, Hainan Blue Flycatcher, Indochinese Blue Flycatcher (split from Tickell's Blue Flycatcher),and more.

Cat Tien National Park to Da Lat Plateau
After some final birding at Cat Tien, we will drive north to Da Lat Plateau, the place with the largest number of endemic species and specialties in Vietnam. Night at Da Lat City.

Birding at Da Lat Plateau
We will have a full day to explore the excellent birding sites and bird-hides in Da Lat Plateau. Our main photographic targets in the bird hides will be the beautiful endemic "Collared Laughtingthrush" and the rare "Rusty-naped Pitta" and other specialties. Nights at Da Lat City.
Expected birds in Da Lat Bird Hides: Rusty-naped Pitta, Pygmy Cupwing, Gray-bellied Tesia, White-browed Scimitar-Babbler, Black- crowned Fulvetta (Endemic), Indochinese Wren Babbler (Near Endemic), Collared Laughingthrush (Endemic), White-cheeked Laughingthrush (Near Endemic), Siberian Thrush, Orange-headed Thrush, Rufous-browed Flycatcher, Large Niltava, Langbian Lesser Shortwing (Near Endemic - Subspecies), Spotted Forktail, White-tailed Robin, Snowy-browed Flycatcher, and more.

Birding at Da Lat Plateau to Deo Nui San (Di Linh)
After some final birding at Da Lat Plateau. In the late afternoon, we will drive to Deo Nui San (Di Linh). Night at Di Linh town.

Deo Nui San (Di Linh)
Today we will have a full day of birding at Deo Nui San, a pass surrounded by impressive forested hills. We will spend most of our time at the bird hides, our main photographic targets will be the 2 most beautiful species "Blue Pitta" and "Indochinese Green-magpie". Night at Di Linh town.
Expected birds in Di Linh Bird Hides: Silver-breasted Broadbill, Blue-rumped Pitta (Near Endemic), Blue Pitta, White-bellied Erpornis, Indochinese Green-Magpie, Ochraceous Bulbul, Black-headed Parrotbill (Near Endemic), White-browed Scimitar-Babbler, Buff- breasted Babbler, Black-hooded Laughingthrush (Near Endemic), Siberian Thrush, Orange-headed Thrush, Hainan Blue Flycatcher, White-throated Rock-Thrush,and more.

Deo Nui San (Di Linh) to Ho Chi Minh City
After some final birding at Deo Nui San before driving back to Ho Chi Minh City for your departure flights.
