Amboseli National Park is in Kenya near the border of Tanzania. The park encompasses 151 square miles (392 sq km). It is part of the larger ecosystem that stretches across Kenya and Tanzania covering an area of 3,100 square miles (8,000 sq km).
Mount Kilimanjaro, the rooftop of Africa, crowns this protected area. Amboseli National Park was formerly recognized as Masai Amboseli Game Reserve. It is situated in the Kailado County of southern Kenya. This national park protects two swamps and the plains from the foothill of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Amboseli is comprised of five different wildlife habitats. These include open plains, yellow-barked acacia woodlands, Lava-strewn rocky thornbush, swamps, and marshes. The Oldoinyo Orok massif stretching toward the skies reaching a height of 8,300 feet (2,760 m).
The collective groups of habitats create an abundance of scenic landscapes that are all capped-off with views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli National park is accompanied by an expanse of the skies stretching from horizon to horizon. The nights are filled with amazing opportunities for star-gazing.

Arrival at Kilimanjaro | Transfer to Arusha
Arrive at Mumbai International Airport in time for your Ethiopian Airlines flight ET 641 departing at 10:50 AM for Addis Ababa. Arrive in Addis Ababa at 1:45 PM and connect to Ethiopian Airlines ET 867 at 3:45 PM for Kilimanjaro. Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport at 6:05 PM, where you will be met by our representative and transferred to Arusha, approximately 1–1.5 hours away. Check in at Karama Lodge and relax after the international journey.

Arusha to Central Serengeti | First Game Drive
After breakfast, transfer to Arusha Airport for the scheduled Flightlink flight departing at approximately 10:00 AM for Seronera, arriving around 10:45 AM. After arrival, meet the safari team and proceed into Central Serengeti for your first game drive. The Central Serengeti is a classic wildlife landscape of open plains, rocky outcrops, and varied habitats. Spend the afternoon exploring the area while looking for the Big Five and other wildlife. Later, proceed to Zuri Camps for dinner and an overnight stay.

Central Serengeti | Full-Day Game Drive
Today is dedicated entirely to exploring Central Serengeti. After breakfast, head into the wilderness with a full-day game drive, allowing time to explore different habitats and follow wildlife activity as conditions dictate. The Serengeti is one of Tanzania's most important wildlife landscapes and is renowned for its large-scale wildlife movements. The day will be paced around wildlife opportunities, photography and the expertise of your safari team. Return to Zuri Camps in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Central Serengeti to Ndutu | Full-Day Wildlife Experience.
After breakfast, depart Central Serengeti towards the Ndutu region. The journey itself becomes part of the safari experience as the landscape gradually changes. Upon reaching Ndutu, continue with a full-day game drive, exploring the surrounding wildlife-rich terrain. January is a particularly interesting period for Tanzania's green-season landscapes, providing opportunities for wildlife observation and photography across refreshed habitats. Later, proceed to Africa Safari South Serengeti for your overnight stay.

Ndutu | Full-Day Game Drive. Spend the entire day exploring Ndutu.
The day's safari is planned around the natural movement of wildlife, with time to observe, photograph and understand the ecosystem rather than rushing between sightings. Your experienced safari team and Nature Explorers India Wildlife Expert will assist with interpretation and field observations. Return to Africa Safari South Serengeti after the day's game drive for dinner and overnight stay.

Ndutu to Ngorongoro | Crater Tour & Karatu
After breakfast, depart towards the Ngorongoro region. The journey takes approximately five hours as specified in the supplied programme. The day's experience includes a Ngorongoro Crater tour, offering an opportunity to explore one of Tanzania's most distinctive wildlife landscapes. Ngorongoro is a recognised highlight of the northern Tanzania safari circuit and is regularly combined with Serengeti and Tarangire itineraries. Later, continue to Karatu and check in at Karatu Simba Lodge.

Tarangire | Game Drive & Return to Arusha
Begin the day with an early morning transfer towards Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a game drive through the park, known particularly for its elephant herds, baobab landscapes and varied wildlife habitats. After the safari experience, continue towards Arusha. On arrival, check in at Karama Lodge for your final overnight stay in Tanzania.

Arusha to Kilimanjaro Airport | Departure
After breakfast, check out and proceed to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your Ethiopian Airlines ET 866 flight departing at 11:55 AM for Addis Ababa. Arrive at 2:15 PM and connect to Ethiopian Airlines ET 640 at 6:50 PM for Mumbai. The flight arrives in Mumbai at approximately 2:35 AM on 27 January, marking the end of your Tanzania Safari Adventure.
