About Tal Chappar Sanctuary

Tal Chappar Sanctuary is a haven for birdwatchers. Situated in the Churu district of the state of Rajasthan, this sanctuary offers you multiple opportunities for stunning bird photography. Some of the species that you can expect to spot here include the Eastern Imperial Eagle, Tawny Eagle, Demoiselle Crane, Desert Wheatear, Indian Eagle Owl, Greater Flamingo, Water Pipit, Greater Short-toed Lark, and Red-necked Falcon, among others. 

The Tal Chappar Sanctuary was formerly a hunting ground of the royals. It forms a part of the majestic Thar Desert and is also known for its blackbucks. Arrival at Jaipur – Transfer to Resort – Birding Session
Guests are picked up from Jaipur Airport and transferred to Tal Chappar by private vehicle. We check in, freshen up, and head for lunch. After lunch, the group is introduced to each other for a bonding session. Once that is complete, we set out on the first birding session of the tour. We return to the resort for dinner and stay overnight

Birding Sessions
Full of adventure and marvellous sightings as we explore different sections of the Tal Chappar Sanctuary. Keep your camera and eyes trained as you are sure to capture some truly breathtaking pictures during the sessions. All meals will be served at the resort as we return between birding sessions to relax. The day closes with a delicious dinner and we rest for the night.

Morning Birding Session – Check out – Transfer to Jaipur Airport
On the final day of the tour, we head out once again to spot a few more species before concluding the trip. Our experts will guide you in making the sightings. We return to check out. All guests are transferred back to Jaipur Airport.
