This journey is nothing short of awe-inspiring as the wildebeest survive the dangers of predators lurking enroute as they fight to the finish. Only the toughest will survive this game of life. And you better have your camera ready to capture wonderful images of wildlife in their element. Arrival in Nairobi – Transfer to Lake Nakuru
Group arrives at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and is welcomed by the tour leader and guide. Next is the transfer to the resort at Lake Nakuru in the Great Rift Valley. Guests can freshen up and look forward to the game drive in the evening. Lake Nakuru Park is home to stunning flocks of Lesser and Greater Flamingos as well as over 400 species of birds. Expect to spot pelicans, egrets, and even the Marabou Stork. You may even get lucky and spot lions, rhinoceros, and hippopotamus too. This exciting excursion is followed by a Wildlife Photography Workshop by a wildlife photography expert to prepare you to capture images of the great migration. The day ends with dinner. Meals: Packed Lunch, Dinner

Transfer to Masai Mara Game Reserve (230 kms, 7 hrs)
The group begins the day early to catch sight of birds early in the morning on a short drive at Lake Nakuru. Next, we head back for breakfast and checkout to head towards Masai Mara. Packed lunch is served enroute and dinner is served at the Masai Mara resort. Guests can retire for the night to get ready for the coming days of adventure.  Meals: Breakfast, Packed Lunch, Dinner About Masai Mara: The world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve spreads across a sprawling 1510 sq kilometres. This reserve is home to a range of fauna and breath-taking landscapes. It is here that you can spot the renowned Big Five – lion, African buffalo, elephant, rhinoceros, and leopard. There are also more than 500 species of birds too that will leave you absolutely wonderstruck. Masai Mara is home to one of the world’s greatest shows – The Great Wildebeest Migration. Guests will get to witness this spectacle through 4 full day safaris in Masai Mara followed by daily photography reviewing sessions and tips.

Game drives at Masai Mara
Guests will spend the next 3 days enjoying game drives that span the course of the mornings and afternoons. The highlight of these safaris will be sightings of the Great Migration as the wildebeest strive against the odds to arrive at Masai Mara. From young calves to older animals…it’s a fight for survival against nature and predator. Lions, cheetahs, leopards, and crocodiles lie in wait to catch the weakest links as only the toughest wildebeest manage to live through the journey. Throughout the drive, guests will receive constant guidance on light techniques and image composition to capture the best shots. The last day of the safari will have a session on post-processing of images. Guests are advised to install Lightroom 6.1 on their laptops to make the most of these sessions. There will also be a visit to the local village to experience the culture and ways of the natives.  Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
