About Kuno National Park

Nestled in the Sheopur district of Madhya Pradesh, Kuno National Park is one of India’s most promising and biodiverse wildlife destinations. Spanning over 748 square kilometers, this park is part of the central Indian dry deciduous forest ecosystem, offering a unique blend of grasslands, woodlands, and riverine habitats.

Originally established as a wildlife sanctuary in 1981, Kuno was upgraded to a national park in 2018. It gained global attention as the chosen site for the historic reintroduction of Asiatic cheetahs, making it India’s first cheetah reintroduction project site.

The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including leopards, Indian wolves, hyenas, nilgai, chinkara, sambhar deer, and an impressive diversity of bird species. Its rich flora, scenic landscapes, and relatively lesser tourist footfall make it a hidden gem for wildlife enthusiasts, birders, and nature photographers alike.

Arrival at Jaipur Airport – Transfer to Resort

Guests will be picked up from Jaipur Airport After pick-up, proceed directly to Kuno. On arrival, check in to the hotel and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, head for your first wildlife safari in Kuno National Park, exploring the diverse flora and fauna of this unique habitat. Return to the hotel in the evening overnight stay at Kuno.

Kuno – Chambal Boat Safari – Departure for Jaipur

Early morning wake-up call followed by tea/coffee. Proceed for a morning safari return to hotel check-out from the hotel. After lunch, proceed to Chambal for an exhilarating boat safari to spot crocodiles, gharials, and a wide variety of migratory and resident birds after the boat ride Drive to Jaipur Airport for onwards journey.
