About Bera Leopard Sanctuary

Situated in the Aravalli Range, Bera is an offbeat destination for safari enthusiasts. The primary attraction here is the magnificent Indian leopard, a shy, yet enigmatic animal. Bera itself is situated near Jawai Bandh, a dam in the Pali district of Rajasthan. It is here in the open wild that you stand your best chance of spotting leopards, a sight that often comes once in a lifetime.

Arrival at Jawai Bandh- Afternoon First Safari
We will all arrive by 1.30 pm in the afternoon at the resort at Jawai Bandh. Upon arrival, we freshen up and get geared up for the first safari of the trip. When the clock strikes 4.00pm, it’s time to spot some leopards, and we head out under the guidance of one of the best leopard trackers. The safari lasts around 3 hours, and there are extremely high chances of sighting the spotted Big Cat. After the safari, we head back to the resort for dinner and a discussion on the day’s sightings.

Morning Safari – Afternoon Safari
Day 2 is an action-packed one, and so you'd better be ready. After a refreshing cup of tea/coffee, we will head on the first leopard safari bright and early at 7.00 am to spot the elusive cat. We will then return for breakfast and lunch. Post this, the group is taken to experience the local culture in the area. We return for dinner and share our experiences over a friendly discussion with each other. The day comes to a close with much camaraderie.

Morning Safari – Check Out & Departure
On the last day, we are taken on the final safari of the trip to spot leopards one last time before the trip comes to a close. We return to the resort for breakfast and by transportation head towards the station, from where we can head home with wonderful memories.

  • If you are travelling by air, kindly plan to land in Udaipur by 9:00 AM.
  • Please note: Tour price is Ex Jawai Bandh Railway station.  Transportation arrangements for guests arriving by air are available at an additional cost on sharing basis
