About Dandeli Anshi Tiger Reserve

Did you love the Jungle Book as a child? If yes, here’s your chance to spot black panthers that look just like lovable Bagheera. Welcome to Dandeli in the state of Karnataka! Here at the Dandeli Anshi Tiger Reserve, you will spot a range of wildlife species and birds too. This reserve is home to tiger, leopard, bison, black panther, and the Malabar giant squirrel, among others. You can also expect to sight birds such as the common emerald dove, little spiderhunter, Malabar pied hornbill, red throated flycatcher, and puff throated babbler, among others. 

A four-day birding trip to Dandeli is sure to leave you spellbound at the richness of avian life. With birds in almost every colour, the adventurer in you will delight at the wonders of the natural world in full glory. Arrival at Londha Jn – Birding Session – Night Trail
Guests arrive at Londha Jn at 9.30am and are transferred from the airport to Dandeli by private car. We check in and have lunch. This is followed by an icebreaking session where we all get to know each other. Next, we head on a birding session around the resort. We return for dinner and later set out on a night trail to spot nocturnal animals.  Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Birding Session
The entire day is devoted to birding sessions at Dandeli. The entire day’s session is conducted under the watchful eye of our birding experts. After the day ends, we discuss our experiences and share photographs. All meals will be provided as per resort timings.  Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Birding Session – Leave for Ganeshgudi
On day 3, guests are taken for one last birding session at Dandeli. Post this, we check out and leave for Ganeshgudi. We halt for lunch at OMH Ganeshgudi where you can spot an amazing variety of birds at the bird photography studio. Guests will receive professional help from our team to properly capture thrilling shots of the birds. The day draws to a close over a fun-filled discussion about the avian sightings.  Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Early Morning Birding – Check Out – Departure from Belgaum Airport
We will head on one last birding session before we check out of the resort to return home. Our expert guides will help you spot some of the rarest species in the area on a trail to Ganeshgudi Village. Alternatively, you can opt to stay back for a photography session at the bird studio. We return to the resort, check out, and go to Belgaum Airport for the onward journey home. Meals: Breakfast Trip comes to an end with wonderful memories.
