About Dandeli Anshi Tiger Reserve

Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary was declared as part of the Anshi Dandeli Tiger Reserve. This is the second elephant reserve in Karnataka after Mysuru Elephant Reserve.

Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary is a birdwatcher’s paradise, housing nearly 200 species of birds most famous for the great hornbill (great Indian hornbill or great pied hornbill) and the Malabar pied hornbill. It is also the only known tiger reserve in India to report frequent sightings of the elusive black panther.

The forests in Dandeli are a mixture of dense deciduous trees interspersed with bamboo and teak plantations. Crocodiles are a major wildlife attraction in this sanctuary.

We will Arrive @ Old Magazine House, check into the hotel and settle. In the evening get ready for the Hide Bird Photography Session. After an enjoyable experience, will have dinner and retire for the night. 1N stay at Resort

In the morning, check out and drive to Kadumane Resort, after arrival Check-into the resort, get freshen up. In the evening get ready for Birding & Night Trail @ Kadumane 1N stay at Resort.

Morning Birding Session– Check out – Transfer to Londa Station
In the morning will do some Local Birding @ Kadumane after the session will pack our bags, Check Out and Drive to Londa
