About Dandeli Anshi Tiger Reserve

Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary was declared as part of the Anshi Dandeli Tiger Reserve. This is the second elephant reserve in Karnataka after Mysuru Elephant Reserve.

Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary is a birdwatcher’s paradise, housing nearly 200 species of birds most famous for the great hornbill (great Indian hornbill or great pied hornbill) and the Malabar pied hornbill. It is also the only known tiger reserve in India to report frequent sightings of the elusive black panther.

Arrival at Londa, Drive to Dandeli (2hrs drive).
We will arrive at Londa and proceed directly to Old Magazine House. Upon arrival, check in to the resort and settle in. In the evening, get ready for an exciting Hide Bird Photography Session. After an enjoyable experience, enjoy dinner and retire for the night.

Full Day Photography
In the morning, head for a Bird Photography Session at Timber Depot. Later in the evening, enjoy another Hide Bird Photography Session at the resort.

Dandeli Birding Session
In the morning head for a Bird Photography Session at Old Magazine House return to hotel check out and drive to Kadumane Resort. Upon arrival, check in and freshen up. In the evening, get ready for an exciting Birding and Night Trail at Kadumane.

Morning Birding Session– Check out – Transfer to Londa Station
In the morning, enjoy a Local Birding Session at Kadumane. After the session, pack your bags, check out, and drive back to Londa.
