About Bhandardara Fireflies
Situated by the Pravara River, Bhandardara is blessed with peace and tranquility and offers a relaxing view. Many famous landmarks, including the Kalsubai peak and Ratangad and Harishchandragad forts, can be spotted in the area. The valley of shadows and the adjacent Samrad Village at Bhandardara are home to millions of fireflies, creating a deep and dark yet magical atmosphere.
Experience an offbeat weekend at the Bhandardara Fireflies event just before the monsoon arrives. These tiny bioluminescent beings sparkle and emit a glow, creating nature’s own light show. Fireflies typically shine at twilight to attract mates or prey, adding magic to your summer night. You can play with these little creatures as they keep amusing you all night long. Photographers, get your cameras ready to capture this sight and save it forever. And don’t forget to enjoy a fun camping night in the folds of the majestic Sahyadris.

Saturday - Transfer from Dadar to Bhandardara
Arrount 10.00 to 10:30 am Meet & greet with our Naturalist at Dadar. Proceed towards Bhandardara by AC Tempo Travellers. Lunch en route at your own. We will reach the resort and check in around noon (Approx 3.30 pm). Have fun at the resort. After Dinner, around 08:30 pm Stroll around the villages to witness the twinkling fireflies. We return to the resort after spending time with Fireflies. Rest for the day.
