Itinerary
DAY 1: Arrival in Nairobi – Transfer to Lake Nakuru
Group arrives at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and is welcomed by the tour leader and guide. Next is the transfer to the resort at Lake Nakuru in the Great Rift Valley. Guests can freshen up and look forward to the game drive in the evening. Lake Nakuru Park is home to stunning flocks of Lesser and Greater Flamingos as well as over 400 species of birds. Expect to spot pelicans, egrets, and even the Marabou Stork. You may even get lucky and spot lions, rhinoceros, and hippopotamus too. This exciting excursion is followed by a Wildlife Photography Workshop by a wildlife photography expert to prepare you to capture images of the great migration. The day ends with dinner.
