Situated along the peaceful banks of Airoli Creek, this hotspot turns into a flamingo haven from January to May, when both Greater and Lesser Flamingos arrive in spectacular numbers. Summer is the most exciting time, as the flamingos perform their flamboyant courtship dances—a stunning natural spectacle.

The sanctuary also welcomes a range of other migratory birds, including ducks like Northern Shoveler, Common Teal, Gadwall, Eurasian Wigeon, Northern Pintail, and Ruddy Shelducks, and wader species like Redshanks, Greenshanks, Sandpipers, Stilts, and Avocets that forage in the rich mudflats.
