About Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka is an Island nation situated in the Indian Ocean and is known for its diverse wilderness. Rich biodiversity and well-preserved natural landscapes offer a heaven for any wildlife or nature lover. This island is endemic to many species like the Sri Lankan magpie, Sri Lankan grey hornbill, and many more. Sri Lanka is also famous for its unique leopard sightings in Yala National Park. Other species sighted in Yala National Park are Sloth bears, sambar deer, crocodiles and other primates. Sri Lankan Island is not limited to land dwellers, but it also has a marine paradise. It is famous for its whale-watching tours at Mirissa. This tour has been organized to cover the wilderness of Sri Lanka and offer maximum wildlife viewing opportunities.
